New .NET Console Features
Sunday, October 30, 2005
.NET Console has been the focus of attention this weekend:
- Variables may be declared explicitly, and there is a new option (guess what its name is?) to require such explicitness.
- Options as well as imports may restricted to any given scope, using special function calls.
- User object methods and properties may be invoked directly, using the common dot syntax.
The documentation has been updated to reflect these new features. As promised in an earlier post, there is now more information on user objects.
Also see today's updates log for some other .NET Console details.
